The Pearl block explorer reads directly from the blockchain. It's the authoritative view of your balance — independent of any wallet app, on any device, with no login required. Learning to use it means you never have to wonder whether your PRL is safe.
Look up your balance

Copy your address from your wallet. Pearl addresses begin with
prl1p. - Open the explorer: https://explorer.pearlresearch.ai/
- Paste the address into the search field and search.
You'll see the current balance for that address, plus every transaction that has ever touched it.
Reading the results

| Balance | The PRL currently held by this address, according to the blockchain |
| Transactions | Every incoming and outgoing transaction for this address |
| Confirmations | How many blocks have been built on top of the block containing your transaction. More confirmations, more certainty. |
| Transaction ID | The unique reference for a transaction. This is what to quote in a support ticket. |
Balances are per address, not per wallet
Pearl uses a UTXO model, the same approach as Bitcoin. Coins are held by individual addresses rather than in a single account balance. A wallet can hold several addresses, and your wallet app adds them together for you.
So if the explorer shows less than you expected, check whether your PRL is spread across more than one address before assuming something is wrong.
Looking up a specific transaction
Paste a transaction ID into the same search field. Useful when a sender says they've sent PRL and you want to confirm it independently — the explorer will show whether the transaction exists, how much it moved, where it went, and whether it's confirmed.
Only ever use the official explorer
Fake explorers exist, and they're built to display whatever balance will convince you to act. Reach the explorer through a link on pearlresearch.ai or this help center rather than through a link sent to you in a message.
The explorer is read-only. It will never ask for your seed phrase, private key, or a connected wallet. Any "explorer" that does is a phishing site — close it.
